The 18th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic will take place on Sunday 10th June, 2007 at Coquitlam Town Centre from 11:00am till 4:30pm. The Grande Parade will precede the opening of the Teddy Bear Picnic starting at 10:00am. The parade route starts at Coquitlam Centre Mall and winds up at Town Centre Stadium kicking off the opening of the Teddy Bear Picnic


Children, and adults, can enjoy many exciting and fun filled activities such as - Dairyland Amoozement Zone, story telling, spin art, mini golf, puppet shows, gymnastics and tumbling, kids zone, bicycle safety course, fire safety house and face painting. Even young musicians can learn to make their own music. KVOS Television will be on site with their Kidstuff Cruiser and providing on site television coverage.

Due to popularity the “hands on circus” workshops will be returning again this year. Children will have the opportunity to test their skills with tightrope walking, juggling, plate spinning and stilt walking. Children are encouraged to bring their teddies in for their annual medical checkup at the Teddy Bear Clinic.

Constant entertainment will be provided by a mix of roving entertainers and main stage performers who are sponsored by Coast Capital Savings. Come and see your favourite performers - Tony Prophet, Fine Tooned, Janina Russell, Rusty the Clown,Fanny Starchild, Zany Zack, Mr I, Twister, Filleta Fish, Mike Battie, Purple Pirate, Chop Suey, and last but not least...Rupert the Clown.
